Big ol' mess

Okay, so it has begun....the whirlwind that we call organizing. Our house is a FANTASTIC mess. (that is for Lynn if she were to EVER read this blog) We have clothes for suitcases, clothes for express shipment, clothes for HHG (household goods) shipment. And, what is with my linens? I am sure I put them into the linen closet organized, but somehow when we are looking to pick out a full set, 4 twin sets, and some extra pillow cases, it is a supreme mess. Who does that? I think someone is messing with me. **edited for Jerry quote** "who is the c*****cker hiding all the f***ing tags on those things." Please forgive the language. It has been a long day. Although I will admit that elicited a huge laugh from me.
My wonderful friends helped me get through the kitchen stuff so I feel much better. I truly love you all. This move is just not going to go easily. I will be leaving A LOT behind. Mostly people whom I could never replace; I just have to hope I will be as lucky in Okinawa.

Aw so sad Jess! You are losing friends you are just gonna make some more! Think cup half full. And what an adventure, right?! Plus EVERYONE I know that's gone to Okinawa says it's a great deal, they love it and HIGHLY recommend it. We actually considered before we found out about this gig. Do you have any contacts there that may be able to help you decide what needs to go express and HHG? And why are you leaving so late? After school has started. Do they have housing for you? Ok I'll stop in case my questions are freaking you out more ;o) You are gonna have fun. Just keep saying that and all will be well!

I know, moving is always sad. I'm just lucky enough to have friends all over! We would have moved in August, but Jer was deployed and was not supposed to make it home in time. So, our orders were modified for a November report date. We do have a sponsor and they are pretty helpful. As far as housing, we will see when we get there. We are on the wait list, if there is one. But we agree that if we can't live on base, we will find the right place out in town and not move onto base later. It will be interesting. Thanks for the support Michelle! It really means a lot.

*big hugs* I love you, Jess. Our life won't be quite the same without you in it, either. However, we will never fall out of touch. Right?

You're a wonderful person with an incredible personality. You attract people to you, you can't help it. You'll make lots of new friends out there. I've no doubt. They don't know how lucky they are yet.....

BTW, thanks again, for running me to the ER that time. I'll never forget your kindness that day. I needed you and you were there for me. That's the kind of friend you are.

Ahhh, so hmm.... The move sounds sucky. Good luck!!!
