Lunch at Ruby's

Garrett and I had to take my shoes in to be fixed, and since we were right downtown, why not head to the pier and have some lunch? Besides, after Garrett had stepped on my shoe and the strap ripped, on my very favorite pair, Mommy needed a little pick me up. I love the pier. It doesn't hurt that you can get a vanilla malt at the end of your walk out either.

Once in awhile, Garrett forgets which way to make a muscle. He is the goofiest kid sometimes.

There was some serious Zamboni decorating going on, how dare I interrupt with the camera...

Okay! You're blogging again, that's great! I checked today and you've been busy.

It's nice catching up with you and your family. Jack and Noah really miss Ruby's and California-there's so much to do there. There's a lot to do here too but D.C. sort of sucks. Just my humble opinion. It's like the crime capital of the United States.

Oh, I saw your Blockbuster list. I wanted to tell you that 'The Count of Monte Cristo' is excellent. So is 'The Notebook' but be prepared to cry a lot. It's a serious tear jerker!

I have read The Notebook and seen the movie. Both are really good. I have not seen the Count of Monte Cristo, but heard good things. If you have never watched Little Miss Sunshine, you should. I LOVE that movie.
